Camping at Ausable Chasm is a vacation in itself. Conveniently located on the chasm grounds, you can relax and play under a bluebird sky with the rolling Adirondack mountains around you.
Ausable Chasm Campground & Cabins is loaded with activities for families on the go, including swimming, playgrounds, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball and disc golf. Don’t forget to bring the bikes and enjoy mountain biking on our professionally designed and maintained trails! We have more than 25 miles of trails just for our campers. We offer a variety of options for campsites, with affordable rates that can be found here. Please read our Campground Rules and Regulations prior to your arrival.

Ausable Chasm Campground is located 12 miles South of Plattsburgh, NY on Route 373 & Route 9. Take exit 34 or 35 from the Adirondack Northway I-87.
The following rates are based upon two (2) adults, age 18 years or older. There is no charge for children under 18 years of age. Your stay includes full use of all our facilities and lets you take advantage of reduced admissions to Ausable Chasm.
You won't find a cleaner or friendlier campground in the area. Pets are okay in our campground with responsible owners, although proof of rabies vaccination is required. Sorry, pets are not allowed in the cabins.

The primary occupants of any campsite must be over the age of 18.
Full payment is required on bookings of 1 night. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking with the balance due on arrival. Full contact details will be required at time of booking.
Rates are based on the first two people and one camping unit and two vehicles. Additional charges will apply, and will be added to your daily rate, for more than 2 adults, tents (on an RV site), and 50 amp service. *Additional Adults are $12.00 per person per night*

To guarantee your campsite, a deposit of at least half your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at campspot.com/book/ausable-chasm. You'll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation.
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 1-518-834-9990 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20.95 cancellation fee. Email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.

Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.
