Experience our Classic Tour by adding a scenic raft ride and float the legendary waters of the Ausable River through a maze of breathtaking rock formations sculpted over thousands of years by the river's currents.

Now Open Year Round!

Spring is here! Ausable Chasm is now gearing up for it's 143rd summer season. Currently, over four miles of trails are open daily (9am-4pm) and the rafts/tubes will be returning to the river May 17th for our popular Float Tours.

Our new, and much-anticipated, Adventure Trail will be opening soon. This trail will feature cable bridges, edge walks, cargo net climb, cable traverses and more. Please check back here or visit our Facebook page for updates.

The cafe and gift shop, both located in the welcome center, are now open daily and are available without admissions.

Our new Ausable Chasm Museum, featuring exhibits and photographs by Seneca Ray Stoddard will be opening soon.

The campground will reopen for the season on May 17th. Please call 518-834-9990 for reservations.

New: at the Campground & Recreation Center are new Mountain Bike Trails (w/rentals available) and a Disc Golf Course.

Also New: The North Star Underground Railroad Museum and Heritage Center located onsite.
