"Lantern
Tours" of Ausable Chasm on Friday and Saturday nights!!!
(Summer Months Only)
 Discover the
beauty of Ausable Chasm at night! Our "Lantern Tours" are
our only guided tour. At dusk, each person is given a

descend into the dark canyon 150 feet below and walk along the
legendary Ausable River and its rushing waters. Exploring
the dark shadows of the chasm walls is an awe-inspiring sight! Tour includes a community campfire and marshmallow roast!

included).

"We hear the
rushing waters more than 100 feet below but see only each other
and the dancing shadows cast by the lantern light against the
sweating, mossy sandstone canyon walls. The affect is both
spooky and exhilarating."
Laura T.
Ryan, Post Standard; Syracuse, NY
"...as the procession
of lanterns descend into the chasm, the bouncing flames throw
moving shadows on the towering rock walls, transforming the
attraction into a completely new place." Daniel P. Bader,
Press Republican; Plattsburgh, NY
