Campground Rules and Regulations

 

  1. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT: Checkout at 11:00 AM.  Site must be vacated by this time.  Pre-approved late check-out may be available at $2/hour – max 3 hours.  Please check with office for approval.  Check in is 1:00PM

 

  1. GUESTS:  All guests must register at office.  Visiting hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

 

  1. QUIET HOURS:  Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM to 7 AM.  Friday & Saturday, 11 PM to 7 AM

 

  1. FIREWOOD:  DO NOT CUT, DAMAGE, DESTROY, OR REMOVE ANY LIVING PLANTS, TREES, OR SHRUBS.  Firewood is sold in the store.  For your safety, please be extremely careful with fires, cigarettes, and matches.  Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings.  Please do not move the fire rings and NEVER leave a fire unattended.

 

  1. FACILITIES:  Our store and recreation room hours are posted at each entrance.  Restrooms and showers are open 24 hours (children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult).  Laundry is located in the main building.

 

  1. SWIMMING POOL:  Open 10 AM to 8:30 PM for the sole use of registered campers and their PAID guests.  Please observe all rules and regulations posted and keep food, drinks, and glass containers, floats, rafts, & swimming aids (masks, snorkels, fins, etc.) out of the pool area.  PLEASE ACCOMPANY AND STAY WITH ALL CHILDREN UNDER 18.  Pool hours are subject to weather conditions.

 

  1. SITE CARE:  All campsites must be maintained in a neat and sanitary condition.  State sanitation laws require that a bucket be placed under sink drains.  Please empty all wastewater in either dump station.  Dishes, food, or clothes must not be rinsed or washed at faucets.  Please use utility sink located in the laundry.  GARBAGE MUST BE DISPOSED OF AS PER RECYCLING AND POSTED RULES.  PLEASE bring garbage to dump stations.  There is no on site pick up…Thank You!

 

  1. PETS:  MUST be kept on a leash and never left unattended.  Pets are not permitted in any building or in the pool or playground areas.  Pets must be kept quiet and owners must clean up after them.  Vaccination records must be available at all times.  Please note: pets are not allowed in the chasm or any tour areas.

 

  1. VEHICLES:  Only one (1) camping unit and two cares are allowed per site.  A second small tent is permitted on your site if it is used exclusively for your children.  Any extra cars, boats, or trailers must be parked in designated areas.  The use of motor scooters, motor cycles, or motor bikes is not allowed in the campground area.  Washing of RV’s and vehicles in the campground is strictly prohibited.

 

  1. GENERAL:  Pay phone and mail facilities are located at the main building.  Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, obscene language, firearms, fireworks, etc. will not be allowed.  Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children.

 

  1. BICYCLES:  Helmets are required in New York State for anyone under the age of 14 operating a bicycle.

 

  1. LOCAL TV CHANNELS:  3 CBS, 5 NBC, 22 ABC, 33 PBS (VT), 44 FOX, 57 PBS (NY)

 

  1. GENERATORS:  Operation of a generator is NOT permitted.

 

  1. PICNIC TABLES:  Do not move picnic tables from assigned sites.
