Ausable Chasm, a popular summer destination since 1870, is now offering spectacular winter tours.  Avoid the large crowds of summer and literally have the entire park to yourself. 

Choose the 30-minute winter waterfall walk to casually view the nearly frozen Rainbow Falls and the famous Elephant's Head.  Or, choose a one or two hour guided adventure that will explore remote sections of the chasm, and marvel at 150 foot icicles and unique rock formations blanketed in snow. 

The winter waterfall walk is maintained to provide easy access to a sampling of our natural wonder and is open daily without reservation, 9am-4pm (closed select holidays).  Just $5pp (Under 5 Free)

The one or two hour guided adventures use snow shoes and/or ice cleats depending on accumulated ice and snow.  All gear is provided and reservations are suggested:    518-834-7454
