15 miles
of mountain bike trails for all abilities awaits you and your bike at
the Ausable Chasm Campground and Recreation Center. Our easy cruising
beginner and intermediate loops are double wide trails perfect for
riding side-by-side with family and friends. Our single track, advanced
loop features steeper hills and narrow paths through many miles of
unspoiled forest. For more expert riding, the Wickham Marsh State trails
which connect to our trail network will lead riders through the Marsh
downhill to Lake Champlain.
The
Mountain Riders Demo Center at Ausable Chasm Campground features high
performance mountain bike rentals. Rentals
are available for $10 for 2 hours or $25 for the day. Check out

Have you
or your kids ever wanted to try mountain bike racing? Are you an
experienced racer looking for a new fun race series? Check out CHASM
RIDERS mountain bike race series every Sunday (5/10-10/7) at 10am. With
3 age divisions for kids (5-9, 10-13 & 14-17) and 3 ability divisions
for adults (novice, intermediate and expert), this series encourages
anyone with a bike to come out and race. Weekly races are
free with a day, season or camping pass. Super Sunday Races (5/27, 6/17,
7/15, 8/19, 9/16 & 10/7) are $5 for race registration/raffle ticket with
a pass. Super Sunday Races will feature a raffle for all racers with
some fantastic prizes! Beginners always welcome and kids under 18 always
race for free! Our complimentary bike coaches are on hand for every race
to show kids the course, give them some tips and to cheer them on!
